Driving Except for local traffic, access the center either via NY Route 684 or the Saw Mill River Parkway. Coming from NJ or from NY across the Hudson River, the Tappan Zee Bridge leads to I-287, from which there are exits to both the Saw Mill River Parkway and Route 684. Route 684 Take exit 3 from the north, or 3-South from the south onto Route 22 southbound toward Armonk. At the second light, turn right onto Route 128 (Armonk Road). Use distance as your guage, as the house numbering along 128 can be misleading. Continue for 3 1/3 miles, having passed Thomas Wright Estates on the right and Wampus Pont on the left. Watch for a small clearing and two stone walls framing the center's driveway on the right. The center is 3/4 of a mile up the driveway. Saw Mill River Parkway Exit the parkway at the Reader's Digest Roaring Brook exit (#33), entering into the property to the east side of the highway. Follow Roaring Brook Road to the light at Route 117, turning left toward Mount Kisco. At the 1st light along Route 117, turn right onto Route 128 (Armonk Road). The center's driveway is 2.1 miles on the left, just past Alfredo's Nursery. Train There is train service to the center from NYC along the Harlem Line. The most convenient station is in Mt. Kisco from which there is a reliable cab service throughout the day.
